Punjab Education Department has created a new education plan including checking of schools, evaluation of teachers' work and co-curricular activities at regular interval of times.

According to a report in Press Trust of India said, "Instructions to all the District Education Officers and Block Primary Education Officers have been issued to ensure the implementation of this revamped education plan in the primary schools."
